In the last year, our laboratory has setup a state-of-the-art wind tunnel bench for developing the now-named senseFly eBee X. The experiments were run in the historical aeronautics-grade wind tunnel at ETHZ. The extensive campaign and long hours paid off and resulted in a drone with a 90-minute autonomy and remarkable aerodynamic properties. The project was supported by our Interreg project AEROPAC, on innovative vehicle aerodynamics for a sustainable future.
